In March 2023 the Pope went viral… or did he?

When an AI-generated image of Pope Francis went viral on Reddit, we knew it was the perfect opportunity for Simulate NUGGS, a plant-based chicken brand, to show Americans that simulations can be just as believable as the original.

So we decided to use Midjourney to “hire” the Pope and other popular celebrities as NUGGS influencers to show Americans that they can’t always trust their eyes (or tastebuds).

And that sometimes, simulations are just as good as the real thing.
